GSAS Micro Systems is an authorized engineering partner in India for Sensepeek AB, the Swedish company that designs and manufactures the PCBite hands-free probing system for printed circuit boards and a family of passive oscilloscope probes.

The partnership covers three Sensepeek product families in India: PCBite hands-free probing kits, SQ-series oscilloscope probes and SQG-series high-frequency probes. Nine products across those three families are listed in the GSAS catalogue, spanning bandwidths from 10 MHz to 6 GHz. GSAS records the partnership as active since 2025.

The PCBite system is a magnetic hands-free probing platform for printed circuit board development, debugging and inspection. A mirror-polished stainless steel base plate in DIN A4 format, 297 by 210 mm, holds up to four CNC-machined aluminum PCB holders with magnets to lock a board in place, while articulating probe arms carry spring-loaded test needles so that measurements can be taken with both hands free. According to Sensepeek product specifications, the 0.5 mm probe tip diameter reaches fine-pitch QFP packages, BGA breakouts and 0402 components that conventional clips cannot access.

The SQ-series covers insulated hands-free oscilloscope probes from 10 MHz to 500 MHz, with 10:1 passive attenuation on the SQ200 and SQ500 and a 1:1 direct connection on the SQ10. Sensepeek rates the SQ200 and SQ500 at 300V CAT II and specifies full insulation on all SQ probes for handheld as well as hands-free use, and describes them as suitable for power electronics, motor drive and automotive ECU measurements.

The PCBite Kit with two SQ500 probes is the highest-bandwidth hands-free oscilloscope probing kit in the Sensepeek range, pairing 500 MHz passive 10:1 probes with the complete PCBite platform. Sensepeek specifies a 300V RMS CAT II rating and 9 pF input capacitance for the SQ500, the lowest in the SQ series, which limits capacitive loading on high-speed signals.

The SQG-series extends PCBite probing into GHz-class signal integrity work at 1.5 GHz, 3 GHz and 6 GHz, with 10:1 passive attenuation and 500 ohm probe tip impedance. Sensepeek specifies a flat frequency response and sub-200 ps rise times for the SQG probes, with SMA output connectors that interface directly with 50 ohm oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers and network analyzers. The SQG60 at 6 GHz is the highest-bandwidth probe in the PCBite ecosystem.

In India, the partnership scope covers:

• Application engineering for hands-free PCB measurement setups, oscilloscope probe selection and high-frequency signal integrity verification
• Evaluation units available from Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Mumbai and Delhi NCR
• Kit configuration guidance, matching PCBite kit and probe combinations to a team’s bandwidth, voltage and measurement requirements
• Integration support, combining Sensepeek probes with GW Instek, Pico Technology and Digilent oscilloscopes in complete test benches
• INR invoicing on all Sensepeek products, with GeM, SAP Ariba, Coupa and TReDS procurement channels supported

Sensepeek was co-founded by Magnus Birch and has focused since 2016 on a practical constraint in electronics development: engineers need to position multiple probes, hold solder and manipulate printed circuit boards at the same time. The PCBite platform of magnetic base plates, articulating probe holders and spring-loaded test needles addresses that constraint.
