Company Overview
From Startup to Ecosystem
Founded in 2010, GSAS has grown into one of India's leading embedded systems companies, with authorized global technology partnerships covering the complete embedded development lifecycle, from architecture to production. Today we serve 4,200+ engineering accounts spanning defense, automotive, aerospace, semiconductor, and industrial sectors, with 40+ field application engineers across all major Indian hubs delivering hands-on integration support, compliance consulting, and technical training.
Our Purpose
To be the catalyst for India's excellence in electronics and semiconductor engineering.
Mission
To catalyse embedded innovation in India by closing the gap between world-class toolchains and the engineers who build with them, delivering not just products, but the domain expertise to deploy them in safety-critical systems that meet the highest global standards.
Vision
To be the partner India's embedded engineering teams reach for first, whether it's an engineer debugging firmware at midnight, or a CTO selecting the RTOS for a software-defined vehicle platform. One country. Every layer of the stack. No one closer to the work.
Leadership
The People Behind the Ecosystem
Satya Gopalam
Founder & Managing Director
Satya Gopalam has spent over two decades building India’s embedded tools ecosystem. Before founding GSAS in 2010, he was the founding director of Electro Systems Associates (ESA Group), where he helped establish India’s early embedded and semiconductor distribution infrastructure.
A self-taught electronics engineer, Satya was building 8085-based automation systems, smart tanks, smart lighting, in the early 1990s, long before “embedded” became an industry category. He holds an MBA from ICFAI and a bachelor’s degree from VTU, Karnataka.
At GSAS, Satya built the company from a single partnership into a multi-partner ecosystem serving 4,200+ engineering accounts across defense, automotive, aerospace, and semiconductor sectors. He served as President of CLIK (the Consortium of Electronics Industries of Karnataka) from 2011, where he led initiatives to build international visibility for Karnataka’s electronics cluster, collaborated with GIZ and CBI on MSME development, and advocated for semiconductor design infrastructure.
Anvesh Gopalam
Executive Director
Anvesh Gopalam leads strategic partnerships and revenue growth at GSAS, marketing, sales, and new market development. Before joining GSAS, he worked at Deloitte, Texas Instruments, and Boston Consulting Group, bringing operational and strategic experience from both the engineering and consulting sides of the industry.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from PES Institute of Technology, Bangalore, and a Master’s in Management from EBS Universität, Germany.
At GSAS, Anvesh expanded the portfolio from debug and trace tools into static analysis, RTOS, and broader embedded software lines, building the compliance and development lifecycle stages that anchor an end-to-end engineering partnership. He also launched the company’s engineering services wing and initiated GSAS-manufactured product development, moving the company from a single product line into a full embedded-systems engineering partnership.
