GSAS Genesis
Genesis: GSAS development boards, designed in India
A series of boards for embedded development and FPGA prototyping, designed by GSAS in Bengaluru, to be built at the company's new Doddaballapur facility. The Cortex-M4 Bridge is the first board in the series.
The series
Our own hardware, from Bengaluru
GSAS was founded in Bengaluru in 2010 and has worked alongside Indian engineering teams ever since, supplying and supporting the tools they design with. Genesis is a step deeper into our own hardware: a series of development boards for embedded work and FPGA prototyping, designed by our engineers in Bengaluru, and the series will be built at our Doddaballapur facility in Bengaluru Rural.
The first board in the series is the Genesis Cortex-M4 Bridge, the microcontroller board of the series. It is fabricated, ready and open for pre-order. The boards that follow it are described below in exactly the terms we can stand behind, and no further.

The first board in the series
Genesis Cortex-M4 Bridge
First board in the GSAS Genesis series: an STM32F407 carrier from India with Ethernet, RF slots, CAN, stepper drive, storage, sensing and HMI. Pre-order now.
An STM32F407 processor board seats on two 50-pin morpho headers, J1 and J2, and the Bridge surrounds it with eight wired and terminated peripherals: 10/100 Ethernet, CAN, three pluggable RF module slots each on its own UART, stepper drive, I2C and SPI storage, temperature and potentiometer sensing, and a display, 7-segment and keypad HMI. There is no FPGA on the Bridge itself.
Coming to the series
What we are building next
These boards do not exist yet. None of them is specified, dated or open for order, and we will not publish a specification before there is a board to match it. If one of them is on your roadmap, tell us, because that is how we decide what to build first.
FPGA development kits
Genesis is a series of microcontroller and FPGA development boards, and FPGA prototyping belongs to the series rather than to the Cortex-M4 Bridge, which carries no FPGA. FPGA development kits are announced at the level of the series and nothing beyond that is settled.
Not specified and not dated. The Cortex-M4 Bridge is the only Genesis board open for pre-order.
NXP platform
GSAS is targeting the NXP platform for a future board in the series. GSAS already designs and builds NXP hardware of its own, and those are separate shipping products rather than part of Genesis.
Not specified and not dated. The Cortex-M4 Bridge is the only Genesis board open for pre-order.
C-DAC VEGA platform
GSAS is targeting the C-DAC VEGA platform for a future board in the series. VEGA is India's indigenous RISC-V processor programme.
Not specified and not dated. The Cortex-M4 Bridge is the only Genesis board open for pre-order.

Designed and built in India
Bengaluru design, Doddaballapur manufacturing
Genesis is designed by the GSAS engineering team in Bengaluru. The manufacturing and R&D facility GSAS opened at Doddaballapur, Bengaluru Rural, on 5 September 2026 brings product development, engineering, assembly, integration and quality testing under one roof, and will become the manufacturing base for the series.
GSAS supports engineering teams in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Mumbai and Delhi NCR, and the same field application engineers who support the tools support the boards.
Talk to us about Genesis
Pre-order the Cortex-M4 Bridge, ask for a demonstration, or tell us which board the series should carry next. Our engineers answer, not a queue.
