From day one with a tool to a team that runs its own tool chain.

  1. 01

    Tool-specific training

    Hands-on training for every tool GSAS supplies, taught by the application engineers who deploy those tools on customer projects. Attendees work through real scenarios, debug actual firmware and leave with working project setups.

    • Keil MDK: project setup, debugging, RTOS-aware debugging, µVision configuration
    • Xpedition: schematic capture, constraint-driven layout, DFM checks
    • PicoScope: oscilloscope fundamentals, advanced triggering, automated measurement
    • SEGGER tools: J-Link debugging, Flasher programming, Ozone profiling
    • Klocwork: static analysis setup, MISRA compliance, CI/CD integration

  2. 02

    Functional safety fundamentals

    Foundational training on ISO 26262, IEC 61508, IEC 62304 and DO-178C: safety lifecycle concepts, hazard analysis, safety integrity levels, tool qualification and compliance evidence. Taught by engineers who support safety assessments in the field.

    • ISO 26262 automotive functional safety lifecycle
    • IEC 61508 industrial safety integrity levels (SIL)
    • IEC 62304 medical device software lifecycle
    • Hazard analysis, FMEA and fault tree analysis methods
    • Tool qualification and compliance evidence preparation

  3. 03

    Embedded architecture deep-dives

    For teams that need to go beyond tool usage into system-level thinking: Arm Cortex-M and Cortex-A architecture, RTOS fundamentals, secure boot, power management and communication stacks. The bridge between knowing a tool and architecting a system.

    • Arm Cortex-M: interrupts, MPU, low-power modes
    • Arm Cortex-A: MMU, caches, TrustZone
    • RTOS fundamentals: task design, synchronisation, timing analysis
    • Secure boot and TrustZone architecture
    • Communication stacks: CAN, LIN, Ethernet, BLE, Wi-Fi

    When an off-the-shelf workshop does not fit, GSAS designs a programme around your technology stack, skill gaps and project timeline: a skills assessment first, then a multi-module curriculum delivered over weeks or months, with labs on your own hardware and codebase.

Most training companies employ full-time trainers who last used the tools years ago. GSAS workshops are delivered by application engineers who deploy these tools on customer projects every week, so a question about your project gets an answer from experience.

Yes. Every workshop in the catalogue can be adapted to your team’s needs and technology stack, and custom corporate programmes are designed from a skills assessment of your team.

Where are workshops delivered?

On-site at your facility anywhere in India, at the GSAS engineering lab in Bengaluru, or as live remote sessions on real hardware controlled by GSAS engineers.

Who teaches the workshops?

GSAS application engineers, the same people who deploy these tools on customer projects. They answer from experience, not from slides.

Do we need to bring equipment?
