Joulescope × GSAS
Joulescope (Maryland, USA) builds precision DC energy analyzers purpose-built for embedded power profiling. Traditional multimeters and oscilloscope-based shunt measurements lack the dynamic range and sampling continuity to capture devices that transition between nanowatt sleep states and ampere-level active bursts in microseconds. The current-generation Joulescope JS320 solves this with 36-bit-equivalent dynamic range, 1 Msps 24-bit simultaneous current and voltage sampling, and gap-free Enwavify v2 autoranging, making it the reference instrument for IoT power optimization, battery-life validation, and energy-harvesting design.
Indian engineering teams developing BLE sensors, LoRaWAN nodes, wearables, and industrial edge devices rely on the JS320 to verify that firmware power budgets match real-world behavior. GSAS has been India's authorized Joulescope partner since 2021, providing instrument supply, evaluation programs, and measurement methodology guidance across six offices, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Delhi NCR, Mumbai, and Pune.

Joulescope JS320: Buy in India
Joulescope JS320
The third-generation precision DC energy analyzer. It measures current down to 0.1 nA resolution, up to 3 A continuous (10 A pulses), while simultaneously measuring voltage to +/-15 V for real-time power, energy, and charge. A 24-bit, 1 Msps measurement path and 36-bit-equivalent dynamic range capture sleep-mode draw, ISR wake-ups, radio bursts, and inrush events in one uninterrupted trace. Enwavify v2 autoranging switches ranges in 1 microsecond with zero dead time, and now measures using any current range during transitions for cleaner low-current results.

Eval Kit and Front Panels: work with the JS320
Eval Kit
The accessory bundle, banana-jack cables, board-header adapters, flying leads, and a USB-C cable, that gets a Joulescope onto your bench and measuring out of the box. A convenient starting point for teams new to precision energy analysis; the accessories carry over to the JS320.
Interchangeable Front Panels
Adapt the instrument to different measurement setups: USB, BNC, Safety Banana Jack, and Binding Post. The front panels are interchangeable and compatible with the JS320, from bench probing through rack-mount automated-test integration.
Software and Python API
Open-Source Software, Free Forever
The Joulescope UI displays real-time waveforms with multimeter and oscilloscope views, statistical analysis, and energy accumulation. Zoom from hours of capture down to individual microsecond events. The Python API enables automated power regression testing in CI/CD pipelines. Export data in CSV, JLS, and binary formats for post-processing in MATLAB, Python, or custom toolchains.
JS320-K001: ISO 17025 NIST-Traceable Calibration
The JS320-K001 is the accredited-calibration variant of the Joulescope JS320. It ships with an ISO 17025:2017 NIST-traceable calibration certificate, for teams that need documented measurement traceability.
Defence procurement, medical device validation, and automotive workflows often demand formal calibration documentation. The JS320-K001 meets these requirements while retaining the full JS320 measurement capability; the instrument and its performance are identical to the JS320-K000, and the calibration is the only difference.
Key points:
- ISO 17025:2017 NIST-traceable calibration certificate included with every JS320-K001 unit
- Same instrument and measurement performance as the JS320-K000; only the calibration differs
- Recalibration and validation for JS320 units in the field available through GSAS via a partner lab in India
Ideal for validation labs, quality departments, and regulated environments. For India pricing on either variant, request a quote.
