India’s construction and mining equipment industry is scaling fast, and the machines are changing faster than the fleets that buy them: telematics is becoming a purchase criterion, operator-assistance cameras and remote operation are moving from pilots to specifications, and electrified machines are entering line-up planning. Every one of those capabilities lives or dies on the machine’s electronics: the SAE J1939 backbone that carries powertrain and hydraulics data, the growing network layer beside it, and the battery and power systems behind electrification. On the vehicle-network side, PicoScope oscilloscopes decode SAE J1939 alongside CAN FD and automotive Ethernet on the same bench, which is exactly the mixed-bus reality of a machine mid-migration. The AutoPi TMU CM4 telematics platform, with a supply range built for 12 V and 24 V machine electrics, gives fleets and OEM pilot teams a programmable path from on-machine data to the cloud. For machine dynamics, Adams multibody simulation carries explicit off-highway positioning, from construction and mining equipment dynamics to articulated vehicle stability.

Electrification brings pack and drivetrain validation with it. The RBS Series regenerative bidirectional DC source covers charge and discharge cycling for machine packs and DC-DC work at up to 30 kW per chassis, with battery emulation for controller validation before cells arrive.
