Capturing and decoding CAN and CAN FD traffic is the starting point of any automotive bus debug. GSAS deploys the Total Phase Komodo CAN Duo interface for dual-channel CAN 2.0A/B and CAN FD capture up to 8 Mbit/s, and the AutoPi CAN-FD Pro for OBD-II vehicle network access. CAN Activity Simulation and Stimulus

Active testing requires injecting controlled CAN traffic into a device under test, not just observing existing traffic. The Total Phase CAN Activity Board Pro provides a deterministic CAN 2.0 and CAN FD stimulus source for bench testing ECUs without the rest of the vehicle network. GSAS engineers build test fixtures and scripts that drive these boards through conformance sequences, fault injection tests, and functional regression.

LIN Bus Analysis

LIN networks remain the cost-effective choice for low-speed body electronics: seat motors, window controllers, mirror adjusters, HVAC blenders. GSAS provides LIN bus analysis and testing using Total Phase protocol analysers and integrated CAN/LIN bridges, and validates LIN 2.x and SAE J2602 compliance for Indian automotive suppliers.

CAN Physical Layer Validation

Protocol-layer tests cannot catch physical layer faults: dominant/recessive voltage margins, bit timing, termination impedance, EMC-induced glitches. GSAS deploys PicoScope 3000/4000 series oscilloscopes with serial decode to validate CAN and CAN FD physical layers against ISO 11898-2, measure bit timing at 5 Mbit/s, and correlate physical-layer faults with protocol-level errors.
