ISRO heritage, from sun sensors to Chandrayaan-3.

Through its founding team, GSAS has supported ISRO since the 1990s, including hardware and test systems for Chandrayaan-3 and Aditya-L1. The company itself was founded in 2010.

    GSAS designs, builds and verifies to your drawings and specification: sensors, boards, EGSE and simulators. Engineering, build and board-level verification are delivered from Bengaluru, with vibration and TVAC qualification through qualified partners.

What can GSAS build and test for a spacecraft?

AOCS sensors (sun, Earth and star sensors), EGSE and checkout systems, sensor and star simulators, test benches and jigs, onboard computer, power and payload boards, flight software verified with TESSY, and FPGA and multilayer PCB design. TT&C and RF are delivered through partners, and vibration and TVAC qualification and PCB fabrication through qualified partners.

What has GSAS delivered for ISRO?

Through its founding team, GSAS has supported ISRO since the 1990s: fibre links for ISRO centres, sun, Earth and star sensors (2016 to 2019), star-sensor test simulators (2022), and hardware and test systems for Chandrayaan-3 and Aditya-L1 (2023). ISRO LEOS recognised the contribution in a letter of appreciation in August 2024. GSAS works with 11 ISRO centres across launch, spacecraft and ground.

Can an ESA or EUSPA programme, or a European prime, work with GSAS?

GSAS is open to supporting them as an engineering and test supplier. It designs, builds and verifies to the customer’s drawings and specification, with engineering, build and board-level verification delivered from Bengaluru and environmental qualification through qualified partners. ESA and ISRO have extended their cooperation to 2032, and the EU and India concluded a trade agreement in January 2026.

Can a US or international NewSpace startup work with GSAS?

Yes. GSAS is open to working with them as an engineering and test partner in India: EGSE, test benches and simulators, boards built to specification, and build and verification at its build and test site in Bengaluru Rural. GSAS already works with 22 customer organisations in India’s space sector, including 11 ISRO centres and 6 NewSpace companies.

Does GSAS handle environmental qualification?

GSAS covers design, build and board-level verification in-house. Vibration and thermal-vacuum (TVAC) qualification, and PCB fabrication, are delivered through qualified partners.

Where is GSAS space hardware built and tested?

In Karnataka, India. GSAS opened a half-acre build and test site at Doddaballapur, Bengaluru Rural, in 2026, with room to expand. Engineering is led from Bengaluru, and GSAS has 11 offices in 9 Indian cities. GSAS is ISO 9001:2015 certified by TÜV Rheinland.
