AutoPi × GSAS
AutoPi (Aalborg, Denmark) has spent over nine years building open-platform telematics gateways that transform any vehicle into a connected, data-generating edge device. Founded to bridge the gap between proprietary fleet management black boxes and the flexibility demanded by modern automotive IoT applications, AutoPi delivers programmable hardware that connects directly to a vehicle's OBD-II port and CAN bus, giving engineering teams full control over vehicle data acquisition, edge processing, and cloud connectivity.
GSAS has been India's authorized AutoPi partner since 2025, providing hardware supply, cloud onboarding, CAN bus integration guidance, and application engineering support for automotive OEMs, fleet operators, EV developers, and IoT solution providers.

Compact, plug-and-play OBD-II device for passenger vehicle telematics and EV parameter logging, battery state-of-charge, cell-level telemetry, charging patterns, and energy consumption. Rapid deployment for car leasing, usage-based insurance, and vehicle research programs.
AutoPi Cloud Platform
Centralized management for all AutoPi hardware, device management, fleet tracking, real-time dashboards, alerting, OTA firmware updates, and remote diagnostics from a single interface. MQTT and HTTP REST API integration connect AutoPi data to existing fleet management and ERP systems. Ships at zero subscription cost with all AutoPi hardware.
Electric Vehicle Telemetry
AutoPi hardware supports comprehensive EV monitoring, either out-of-the-box or with configurations, making the platform a natural fit for India’s rapidly growing electric vehicle ecosystem. Key EV parameters tracked across all three devices:
- Battery State-of-Charge (SoC): real-time charge level with detailed charging history
- State-of-Health (SoH): long-term battery degradation tracking
- Cell-level telemetry: minimum/maximum cell voltages and temperature monitoring
- HV battery metrics: available power, available energy, lifetime energy consumption
- Charging patterns: charge session logging, efficiency analysis, charging strategy optimization
- Range optimization: driving range predictions based on historical driving data and eco-driving analytics
Fleet operators managing EV fleets can improve charging efficiency through AutoPi’s eco-driving insights and optimized charge scheduling.
Vehicle Telematics & Fleet Management
Beyond raw data logging, AutoPi delivers production-ready fleet management capabilities through the AutoPi Cloud platform:
- Real-time fleet tracking: live GPS position, speed, and route visualization
- Driver behavior analytics: harsh braking, rapid acceleration, cornering G-forces via the built-in IMU
- Geofencing: configurable boundary alerts for fleet zone management
- Fuel monitoring: consumption tracking and efficiency benchmarking (ICE vehicles)
- Remote diagnostics: DTC reading, OBD-II health checks, and predictive maintenance alerts
- OTA updates: remote firmware and configuration deployment with atomic rollback
- API integration: MQTT and REST APIs for connecting AutoPi data to existing fleet management, ERP, and BI systems
