About AutoPi Mini
The AutoPi Mini is a compact, plug-and-play vehicle telematics device, not bigger than a deck of cards, that connects directly to any vehicle’s OBD-II port. It combines 4G LTE Cat 1 cellular connectivity (with built-in SIM covering 188 countries) with GPS/GNSS positioning to provide real-time vehicle tracking, trip logging, OBD-II diagnostic data, and EV-specific telemetry including battery state-of-charge, cell voltages, and charging patterns.
Once plugged into the OBD-II port, the AutoPi Mini powers on automatically, establishes a cellular connection, and begins transmitting vehicle data to the AutoPi Cloud platform at zero subscription cost. Fleet managers access dashboards for live tracking, trip history, geofencing alerts, and vehicle health monitoring. The Mini supports legacy OBD protocols including K-Line and KWP alongside CAN, making it compatible with a wide range of vehicles.
