About PicoScope 6000E
The PicoScope 6000E series from Pico Technology is a high-performance USB oscilloscope family offering 300 MHz, 500 MHz, 750 MHz, and 1 GHz bandwidth models, extending up to 3 GHz on the 6428E-D, with 4 or 8 analog channels. FlexRes technology allows engineers to trade bandwidth for resolution, operating at 8-bit for maximum bandwidth or increasing to 10-bit and 12-bit at reduced bandwidths for higher signal fidelity on precision measurements. A deep capture buffer of up to 4 GS provides extended acquisition times at full sample rate — essential for capturing rare events and long protocol sequences without sacrificing time resolution.
With real-time sampling up to 10 GS/s (single channel), the 6000E series handles high-speed digital interfaces (USB, HDMI, DDR), RF signals, and fast transients that lower-bandwidth instruments cannot resolve. The 8-channel variants provide the simultaneous observation capability needed for multi-rail power integrity analysis, high-speed serial bus debugging, and complex embedded system validation where four channels are insufficient.
