Overview
About PicoScope 3000D Series
The PicoScope 3000D Series from Pico Technology spans eight base models (3203D through 3406D) plus their MSO variants, covering 50 MHz to 200 MHz bandwidth with 2 or 4 analog channels, up to 1 GS/s real-time sampling, deep buffer memory up to 512 MS, and a built-in arbitrary waveform generator — all through a USB 3.0 connection that powers the instrument directly from the host PC. The 3000D Series occupies the mid-range of the PicoScope lineup: it steps up from the entry-level 2000 Series with significantly deeper memory, higher bandwidth options, and USB 3.0 throughput, while remaining compact and bus-powered unlike premium benchtop oscilloscopes.

All models share 8-bit resolution, USB 3.0 SuperSpeed connectivity, a built-in 20 MS/s AWG with standard waveforms (sine, square, triangle, ramp, noise, PRBS, and custom), and serial protocol decoding for over 20 protocols including CAN, CAN FD, LIN, FlexRay, I2C, SPI, UART, SENT, and 1-Wire. MSO variants add 16 digital channels (2 ports of 8) with 100 MHz digital bandwidth and ±20 V input range. PicoScope 7 software is included for Windows, macOS, and Linux with no subscription fees.
Watch the PicoScope 3000D Series introduction
The deep buffer memory is the 3000D Series’ standout capability: the 512 MS buffer on the 3206D/3406D models captures seconds of signal activity at full sampling rate, enabling long-duration protocol captures and intermittent fault hunting that shallow-buffer scopes miss entirely. Combined with 100,000 waveforms per second capture rate and hardware-accelerated triggering, the 3000D Series handles the demands of embedded systems development, automotive ECU debugging, and production test. GSAS Micro Systems provides the full PicoScope 3000D range with model selection guidance, probe recommendations, and applications support for engineering teams across India.
