Overview
About GSAS LPC 2929 ARM9 Development Board
The GSAS LPC 2929 Development Board is an ARM9-based evaluation platform designed specifically for CAN-bus applications and automotive prototyping. Built around the NXP LPC2929 microcontroller running at 125 MHz, this board provides dual CAN 2.0B interfaces that make it the natural choice for CAN gateway development, automotive ECU prototyping, and industrial communication bridging applications. GSAS designed and manufactures this board in Bangalore with a production-grade PCB layout that meets automotive-adjacent reliability expectations.

The dual CAN interface architecture enables developers to build and test CAN gateway firmware, receiving messages on one CAN bus, processing or filtering them, and forwarding to the second bus. This is a core requirement in automotive body electronics, powertrain communication, and industrial vehicle networking. The board also exposes UART, SPI, and I2C interfaces for connecting supplementary sensors, displays, or communication modules needed in complete system prototypes.
GSAS provides embedded Linux BSP support and bare-metal firmware examples for the LPC2929 platform, along with JTAG debug connectivity for standard debug probes. The board is used by automotive Tier-1 suppliers and engineering colleges across India for hands-on CAN protocol development and vehicle network simulation.
