About Flasher Hub-12

Flasher Hub-12

The Flasher Hub-12 is a 12-channel gang programming hub that connects up to twelve SEGGER Flasher Compact units for synchronized, parallel firmware programming at production scale. Where the Flasher Hub-4 addresses small-to-medium batch requirements, the Hub-12 targets high-volume manufacturing lines where programming throughput is a critical bottleneck, multiplying capacity by twelve from a single hub with synchronized triggering and per-unit pass/fail feedback.

High-Volume Production Programming

Twelve Flasher Compact units operating in parallel deliver aggregate throughput that rivals dedicated inline programming systems at a fraction of the capital cost. Each channel programs independently at up to 3 MB/s across JTAG, SWD, cJTAG, and SPI interfaces, supporting the full range of Arm Cortex-M, Cortex-A, Cortex-R, and RISC-V targets. The hub synchronizes the start trigger so all units begin simultaneously, ensuring consistent cycle times for production scheduling and operator workflow planning.

For production lines requiring even higher throughput, multiple Hub-12 units can be combined, two hubs with 24 Flasher Compact units provide enough parallel capacity for all but the highest-volume consumer electronics manufacturing. The modular architecture means manufacturers invest incrementally as production volumes scale, and every Flasher Compact unit is interchangeable between Hub-4 and Hub-12 configurations.

Watch the SEGGER Flasher Hub-12 introduction

The Flasher Hub-12 is the go-to solution for contract manufacturers, automotive Tier-1 suppliers, and any production environment where programming dozens of units per cycle is essential to meeting volume targets and delivery schedules.

Common questions about Flasher Hub-12

What is the SEGGER Flasher Hub-12 used for?
The Flasher Hub-12 connects up to twelve Flasher Compact units for synchronized parallel gang programming at high-volume production scale. Two hubs can be combined for 24-unit throughput on demanding manufacturing lines.
Standalone vs gang programming: which Flasher do I need?
The Flasher Hub-12 is a gang programming accessory for high-volume lines; it synchronizes twelve Flasher Compact units to start and complete together. For lower-volume or single-station needs, the Flasher Hub-4 or a standalone Flasher Compact is more appropriate.
Does the Flasher Hub-12 support secure/protected programming?
Security capability comes from the connected Flasher Compact units, which support serial number injection for production traceability. For encrypted firmware and certificate provisioning across a gang setup, use Flasher Secure units and contact GSAS for a multi-unit configuration.
Can I buy the SEGGER Flasher Hub-12 in India?
Yes. GSAS Micro Systems, an authorized SEGGER engineering partner in India, supplies the Flasher Hub-12 with competitive pricing and short lead times, for contract manufacturers and automotive Tier-1 suppliers scaling production across India.
