GSAS among 25 companies selected to showcase at the launch of the new MSME Technology Centre in Bengaluru

GSAS Micro Systems was selected among 25 companies to showcase its technology at the launch of the new MSME Technology Centre in Bengaluru, a facility built around electronics system design.

The centre sits at the intersection of two areas that have shaped much of the engineering work GSAS does: aerospace and electronics.

What GSAS showed

The GSAS showcase covered FPGA and embedded systems prototyping on Arm platforms, battery management systems and transformer testing, together with products developed and manufactured through the company’s in-house R&D programmes.

The exhibition was presented to Smt. Shobha Karandlaje, Hon’ble Minister of State for MSME, Smt. Uma Reddy, President of the Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry, and other dignitaries.

Why the centre matters

Indigenous product development needs training facilities and access to prototyping, testing and manufacturing infrastructure. The new Technology Centre is designed around precisely those requirements, with a focus on electronics system design.

Anvesh Gopalam, Executive Director of GSAS Micro Systems, said the company is grateful to the Government of India and the Government of Karnataka for creating the platform, and that GSAS is looking forward to making the most of it, particularly as several of the products shown move into the company’s new facility at Doddaballapur in Bengaluru.

The Doddaballapur facility opened in September 2026 and carries GSAS manufacturing and R&D work, including the Genesis series of GSAS-branded development boards.

GSAS in aerospace

GSAS has been part of India’s aerospace and satellite ecosystem for years, including a contribution to Chandrayaan-3. GSAS does not describe the scope of that involvement publicly.
