GSAS PCI-DIO Digital I/O & Timer Card

The GSAS PCI-DIO is a digital I/O and timer card in PCI add-on format, designed for instrumentation and control applications where digital data from instruments such as frequency counters needs to be collected by a PC. The card provides 48 lines of I/O capability based on 8255 architecture, enabling monitoring of digital signals from various sources and supporting event counting and pulse width measurement through three 16-bit programmable timers.

Applications include control and actuation of external devices like stepper motors, relays, and LEDs, as well as data acquisition from digital instruments. The user-selectable address configuration allows multiple cards to be installed in a single PC for expanded I/O capability.
