About GSAS Solar PV Charger Module

The GSAS Solar PV Charger Module is a solar photovoltaic charging circuit designed for hands-on education in renewable energy harvesting and IoT power system prototyping. The module provides a complete solar charge controller circuit, including a solar panel input, charge regulation circuitry, battery charging output, and regulated DC output, allowing students to study the full energy harvesting chain from photovoltaic cell to regulated power supply. It connects to GSAS microprocessor trainer kits through the standard bus connector, enabling software-controlled monitoring of solar panel voltage, charging current, and battery state.
