GCT-9040

The GCT-9040 is an AC ground bond tester delivering up to 40A test current with a measurement range from 1 milliohm to 650 milliohm for verifying protective earth continuity in electrical products. When connected with a GPT-9800 or GPT-9900 series safety tester, it forms a comprehensive multi-function safety test station covering hipot, insulation resistance, and ground bond in a single automated sequence.

The front-panel remote terminal enables convenient test lead connection for both benchtop and fixture-based ground bond measurements. Up to 100 memory blocks store test parameters for different product types, allowing operators to recall configurations instantly without manual entry. The high intensity flash indicator provides clear visual pass/fail status visible from a distance on busy production floors.

PWM switching amplifier technology delivers the 40A test current efficiently while minimizing instrument heat generation during continuous testing. Integration with GPT-9800/9900 safety testers creates a unified test workflow where ground bond, withstanding voltage, and insulation resistance tests execute in a single automated sequence.
