About GSB-01/02 Scanner Box
The GSB-01 and GSB-02 Scanner Boxes are multiplex switching accessories that expand the channel capacity of GW Instek GPT-9800, GPT-9900, and GPT-9900A series safety testers. By routing test signals to multiple DUT connection points, the scanner boxes enable automated multi-point withstanding voltage, insulation resistance, and ground bond testing without manual probe repositioning. Up to four scanner boxes can connect to a single GPT unit, providing 32 test channels.

Applications
Production lines manufacturing electrical appliances, medical devices, power supplies, and industrial equipment use the GSB scanner boxes to automate multi-point safety testing. The GSB-01 provides 8 high-voltage channels for withstanding voltage and insulation resistance tests across multiple insulation barriers in a single test sequence. The GSB-02 adds 2 dedicated ground bond channels for products requiring protective earth continuity verification alongside dielectric testing.
High-intensity LED indicators on each channel display real-time switching status and pass/fail judgment, giving operators immediate visual feedback during automated test sequences. Front and rear input connector design allows flexible fixture wiring arrangements for different production line layouts.
