About GSP-9330
The GW Instek GSP-9330 is a high-test-speed RF spectrum analyzer covering 9 kHz to 3.25 GHz with a resolution bandwidth as fine as 1 Hz, a fast 204 µs sweep and a built-in EMC pretest function. With a built-in preamplifier, 50 dB attenuator, AM/FM/ASK/FSK/2FSK demodulation and an optional tracking generator (GSP-9330TG), it gives RF design, wireless and EMC teams a single benchtop spectrum analyzer for design verification, pre-compliance screening and production testing across the sub-3.25 GHz bands.

A 9 kHz to 3.25 GHz RF spectrum analyzer with 1 Hz RBW
The GSP-9330 sweeps from 9 kHz to 3.25 GHz with resolution bandwidth selectable from 1 Hz to 1 MHz (3 dB) and video bandwidth from 1 Hz to 1 MHz, both in a 1-3-10 sequence. The fine 1 Hz RBW resolves closely spaced signals, adjacent carriers, sidebands and spurs, that a coarse-RBW analyzer would merge. A built-in preamplifier lowers the displayed average noise level to -149 dBm/Hz (preamp on) so low-level signals stay visible above the noise floor, while a 50 dB input attenuator and a maximum safe input of +33 dBm average power handle high-power devices. The fastest sweep time of 204 µs (span > 0 Hz) keeps throughput high on the production line. Spectrogram, topographic and split-window display modes make intermittent and time-varying signals easy to capture and interpret on the 8.4-inch SVGA screen.
Built-in EMC pretest: quasi-peak and average detectors with limit lines
EMC pre-compliance is where the GSP-9330 earns its place on the bench. A built-in EMC pretest function provides Quasi-Peak and Average EMI detectors, EMI resolution bandwidths and limit-line testing, so engineers screen radiated and conducted emissions before committing to an accredited chamber. The full detector set, positive-peak, negative-peak, sample, normal, RMS, Average (EMI) and Quasi-Peak (EMI), covers both general spectrum work and CISPR-style measurements. Combined with GW Instek’s GKT-008 near-field EMI probe set, the GSP-9330 locates emission hotspots directly on a PCB early in design, so problems are fixed in the lab rather than discovered after a failed compliance test.
Tracking generator (GSP-9330TG): scalar network analysis
The optional tracking generator turns the GSP-9330 into a scalar network analyzer. Available as the factory-installed GSP-9330TG variant, the tracking generator outputs a synchronized sweep from -50 to 0 dBm to measure the frequency response of cables, filters, amplifiers and mixers, characterizing insertion loss, filter bandwidth, amplifier gain and mixer conversion loss without a separate signal source. The base GSP-9330 ships without the tracking generator; GSAS helps you decide whether the base unit or the TG version matches your application before you order.
Advanced RF measurements and signal demodulation
The GSP-9330 carries a complete set of one-button RF measurements: channel power (CHPW), occupied bandwidth (OCBW), ACPR, spectrum emission mask (SEM), third-order intercept (TOI), P1dB compression point, harmonic, CNR, CTB, CSO, N-dB bandwidth, noise marker, frequency counter, TDP and gated sweep. For modulated signals it adds AM/FM analog demodulation and analysis plus ASK/FSK and 2FSK digital demodulation and analysis, useful for verifying wireless transmitters and characterizing modulation quality. A sequence function automates repetitive measurement routines for hands-off production testing.
