Overview
About XDM-ETH

The XDM-ETH is ProMik’s dedicated automotive Ethernet ISP programmer, sharing the same Zynq UltraScale+ engine as the MSP2300Net. Four independent 100/1000BASE-T1 channels deliver parallel programming at 100 MB/sec each, with an onboard SATA3 SSD (up to 2TB at 600 MB/sec read) that eliminates firmware loading latency entirely. Open Alliance TC8 compliance ensures standardized automotive Ethernet test and programming compatibility.

| Form Factor | 19-inch rack mount, hot-swappable |
| Software | FlashTask Pro, pOnline Pro |
Built for next-generation ADAS, domain controllers, and gateway ECUs that use automotive Ethernet as their primary communication bus, the XDM-ETH supports HSM key injection and secure boot provisioning for UNECE R155/R156 cybersecurity compliance. An optional 4-channel Ethernet multiplexer expands each channel to four endpoints, scaling a single rack unit to 16 simultaneous programming targets. The 19-inch rack mount form factor with hot-swap capability makes it ideal for high-throughput production environments.
The onboard SATA3 SSD is a critical differentiator for automotive ECU programming, where firmware images for ADAS and infotainment systems can exceed several gigabytes. By storing images locally on a high-speed SSD rather than streaming them over the network for each programming cycle, the XDM-ETH eliminates the network bandwidth bottleneck that limits throughput on conventional network-based programmers.
Applications
- ADAS domain controllers: programming next-generation domain and zone controllers with multi-gigabyte firmware over automotive Ethernet
- Gateway ECUs: high-speed programming for central gateway modules connecting CAN, FlexRay, and Ethernet domains
- Infotainment systems: large firmware image deployment for head units and digital cockpit platforms
- Cybersecurity provisioning: HSM key injection and secure boot activation for UNECE R155/R156 compliance
ProMik Ecosystem
The XDM-ETH integrates into XTL inline systems or operates standalone in 19″ rack configurations. FlashTask Pro and pOnline Pro provide centralized management. Projects developed on the XDM-USB transfer to XDM-ETH production setups with zero re-porting.
GSAS Micro Systems provides the XDM-ETH with production line integration support, automotive Ethernet fixture design consultation, and HSM key provisioning workflow assistance for tier-1 automotive suppliers implementing secure manufacturing processes.
