What’s covered
Less Iteration, More Confidence: What’s New in LeakageMaster is a free Elsyca webinar on Thursday, 30 July 2026 at 7:30 PM IST, presented by Romain Baudson and Kinga Bodo, covering the newest release of Elsyca LeakageMaster for automotive acoustic sealing. Registration is free.
GSAS Micro Systems is highlighting Less Iteration, More Confidence: What’s New in LeakageMaster, a webinar hosted by Elsyca and running 45 minutes on Microsoft Teams.
In Elsyca’s own framing, acoustic leakage “is still too often discovered late, on prototypes, through smoke or ultrasound tests.” The session shows how the latest LeakageMaster release helps NVH and sealing teams identify leak paths directly from the CAD model, evaluate countermeasures virtually, and reach sealing decisions before a prototype exists.
Elsyca describes LeakageMaster as software for performing “upfront virtual smoke tests” to “improve vehicles interior acoustic comfort”, automatically generating acoustic plugs for sheet metal holes, creating custom sealants such as glue lines, patches and cavity baffles, and visualising how noise propagates through the body-in-white.
What you will learn
Elsyca lists these outcomes for the session:
- Use virtual leakage area, improved plug generation, and geometry intersection detection to catch leak paths earlier
- Trace, interpret and share leak paths more easily with the new post-processing tools
- Surface leak paths earlier in the design cycle instead of waiting for prototype testing
- Validate sealing concepts virtually and cut trial and error out of development
Who should attend
Elsyca names four audiences for the session:
- NVH engineers
- Leakage and sealing engineers
- Sound quality engineers
- R&D and CAE teams working on body-in-white acoustics
What is a virtual smoke test?
On a physical prototype, sealing teams find acoustic leaks by pushing smoke through a body-in-white and watching where it escapes, or by sweeping an ultrasonic probe over the sealed structure to find where the signal gets through. Either test only exists once a prototype does, which is late in the programme and expensive to act on. A virtual smoke test runs the same question against the CAD model instead: the simulation traces the paths sound can take through gaps, holes and unsealed joints, so a sealing strategy can be evaluated and revised while the design is still on screen. Elsyca LeakageMaster is the tool this webinar covers for that workflow.

Why GSAS is sharing this
GSAS Micro Systems has been Elsyca’s authorized engineering partner in India since 2021, supporting electrochemical and surface finishing simulation projects for automotive, aerospace and electronics teams from Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Delhi NCR, Mumbai and Pune.
Indian automotive engineering teams sit close to this problem. Body-in-white acoustics and sealing work happens inside the same programmes as the plating and coating simulation GSAS already supports through Elsyca, and the teams reviewing sealing decisions are often the teams reviewing corrosion and coating coverage.
Registration and any follow up on LeakageMaster itself run through Elsyca. If your programme runs Elsyca PlatingManager, ECoatMaster or AnodizingManager, or you are scoping that surface finishing simulation work for an Indian site, talk to us.
