MSC Nastran in Visakhapatnam

Visakhapatnam is a principal industrial and defence metro of coastal Andhra Pradesh and the eastern seaboard. The Andhra Pradesh Medtech Zone (AMTZ) at Pragati Maidan near Nadupuru is an integrated medical device manufacturing cluster, hosting many medtech companies spanning diagnostic imaging, IVD, ICU electronics, and medical device R&D. Visakhapatnam is a major naval and maritime industries hub, concentrating naval electronics, sonar, combat-systems, shipbuilding, and shipboard instrumentation demand across the region. The city's heavy-industrial base includes steel, refining, and petrochemicals, with the Petroleum, Chemicals and Petrochemicals Investment Region (PCPIR) spanning the Visakhapatnam–Kakinada corridor and driving heavy process automation, power, and instrumentation demand. The AP government's Orvakal, Naidupeta, and Atchutapuram SEZs extend the industrial footprint southward. Andhra University, GITAM, and IIM Visakhapatnam supply engineering and management talent to the region, supporting demand for embedded test, instrumentation, and high-reliability engineering tools.
