About Analog Discovery Pro ADP5490
The Digilent Analog Discovery Pro ADP5490 is a 4-channel, 500 MHz bandwidth mixed signal oscilloscope from Digilent (an Emerson company, formerly NI). As the highest-bandwidth instrument in the ADP 5000 Series, the ADP5490 delivers 2 GS/s per-channel sampling across four BNC-connected analog inputs at 8-bit resolution, combined with a 34-channel logic analyzer at 1 GS/s, a 14-bit arbitrary waveform generator, protocol analysis, and deep buffer memory — all with USB-C and Ethernet connectivity.
The 500 MHz bandwidth and 2 GS/s per-channel sample rate define the ADP5490’s role as the speed leader of the Analog Discovery Pro family. Engineers working with high-speed digital interfaces (LVDS, MIPI, PCIe), RF signal chains, switching power converters with fast edges, and high-speed clock distribution networks benefit from the additional bandwidth headroom over the 350 MHz ADP5470.
