GSAS iMotion Programmer

The GSAS iMotion Programmer is a dedicated programming solution for Infineon’s iMotion motor control ICs, assembled by GSAS in Bangalore in partnership with Elprotronic. This programmer targets the Infineon iMotion IMC (Integrated Motor Controller) and IMD (Integrated Motor Drive) series devices used in BLDC and PMSM motor control applications across appliances, HVAC systems, pumps, and industrial drives. It combines Elprotronic’s proven programming technology and firmware with GSAS’s local assembly, testing, and support infrastructure.

The programmer connects via USB to a host PC and performs in-circuit programming of iMotion devices on the production board. This in-circuit approach means motor control firmware can be programmed after board assembly, allowing manufacturers to use the same hardware platform for different motor configurations by changing only the programmed firmware. The durable design supports the throughput and reliability requirements of volume manufacturing environments where programming failures directly impact line efficiency.
