About AFG-3000 Series
The AFG-3000 Series delivers arbitrary function generation up to 80 MHz with 16-bit vertical resolution, 200 MSa/s sampling, and 1M point deep arbitrary waveform memory. GW Instek’s Direct Waveform Reconstruction (DWR) technology ensures faithful output of complex waveforms by minimizing interpolation artifacts, making the series particularly effective for medical and automotive electronic waveform reproduction. The 4.3-inch high-resolution LCD provides clear waveform visualization and parameter monitoring.

Standard waveforms including sine, square, triangle, ramp, pulse, and noise cover routine stimulus needs, while the 1M point arbitrary memory accommodates long, complex waveforms for medical device testing, automotive bus simulation, and power electronics transient analysis. Built-in AM, FM, PM, PWM, FSK, sweep, and burst modes eliminate the need for external modulation sources. The AFG-3032 and AFG-3022 add I/Q baseband output for wireless communication signal generation and receiver testing.
USB and LAN interfaces (GPIB optional) enable remote control and integration into automated test systems, while the 1 µHz frequency resolution provides the fine tuning required for precision measurement applications.
