About APS-7000 Series
The GW Instek APS-7000 Series is a programmable linear AC power source delivering 500 VA to 3000 VA with a clean, low-distortion output. A 4.3-inch TFT-LCD provides real-time display of output parameters and measurement data. The series supports small AC current measurement from 2 mA to 35A, making it suitable for both low-power electronics and higher-current appliance testing.

Built-in measurement and test functions capture voltage, current, peak current, peak hold current, frequency, power factor, and crest factor, enabling engineers to characterize DUT input power behavior without external analyzers. Automatic execution of sequence, simulate, and program modes streamlines regulatory compliance testing and production line validation. The APS-7050 and APS-7100 models offer an augmented output range up to 600 Vrms and 999.9 Hz, addressing higher-voltage and variable-frequency test scenarios for aerospace and military applications.
The economy E-series models (APS-7050E and APS-7100E) deliver the same power quality without remote interfaces, providing a cost-effective solution for manual bench testing. A reverse current alarm protects the source when testing devices that may feed energy back into the output.
