Overview
About GPP-X323 Series Multi-Output Programmable DC Power Supply
The GW Instek GPP-X323 Series is a multi-output programmable DC power supply that scales from one to four channels in a single compact 3U half-rack chassis. Rated to 217 W total output, every model pairs precision power delivery, ≤350 µVrms ripple, ≤50 µs transient recovery and 0.1 mV / 0.1 mA readback resolution: with a built-in CC/CV/CR electronic load on CH1 and CH2, so one benchtop power supply can both source and sink power for charge/discharge and dynamic-load testing. A 4.3-inch TFT display shows setting values, measured values and live output waveforms at a glance.
The family spans four models, GPP-1326 (single), GPP-2323 (dual), GPP-3323 (triple) and GPP-4323 (quad), making it a flexible multi-output DC power supply for multi-rail embedded systems, energy-storage and semiconductor test benches.

A 1-to-4 channel programmable DC power supply: 217 W in a half-rack chassis
Most benches end up cluttered with separate single- and dual-output supplies for each voltage rail. The GPP-X323 Series puts up to four independent, individually switched outputs in one 213 × 145 × 312 mm half-rack unit with a maximum output power of 217 W. CH1 and CH2 deliver 0–32 V / 0–3 A each (the single-output GPP-1326 delivers 0–32 V / 0–6 A), with high setting resolution of 1 mV / 0.1 mA and readback resolution of 0.1 mV / 0.1 mA for precise characterisation of power-consumption profiles. Setting and readback accuracy is ≤±(0.03% + 10 mV) for voltage and ≤±(0.30% + 10 mA) for current.
Multi-output DC power supply: independent rails for every voltage domain
The GPP-X323 Series is built for multi-rail systems where a processor core, I/O, memory and peripherals each need a different, independently monitored and protected supply:
- GPP-1326: 1 channel: 0–32 V / 0–6 A
- GPP-2323: 2 channels: CH1 0–32 V / 0–3 A, CH2 0–32 V / 0–3 A
- GPP-3323: 3 channels: CH1 & CH2 0–32 V / 0–3 A, CH3 selectable 1.8 / 2.5 / 3.3 / 5.0 V at 5 A (plus a 3 A USB Type-A charging output)
- GPP-4323: 4 channels: CH1 & CH2 0–32 V / 0–3 A, CH3 0–5 V / 0–1 A, CH4 0–15 V / 0–1 A
Each channel has its own output on/off switch, so you can power up rails in the right order and isolate a domain without disturbing the rest of the system.
Built-in CC/CV/CR electronic load on CH1 and CH2
The CH1/CH2 channels double as a built-in electronic load: a single power supply can set one channel as the power source and another as the load to consume the DUT’s power, covering basic battery charge/discharge and dynamic-load testing without a separate instrument. On CH1/CH2 the load function provides:
| Load parameter | GPP-2323 / 3323 / 4323 (per CH) | GPP-1326 |
|---|---|---|
| Load channels | 2 | 1 |
| Display power | 0–50.00 W | 0–100.00 W |
| CV mode range | 1.500–33.00 V | 1.500–33.00 V |
| CC mode range | 0–3.200 A | 0–6.200 A |
| CR mode range | 1 Ω – 1 kΩ | 1 Ω – 1 kΩ |
| CC set/read accuracy | ≤0.3% + 10 mA | ≤0.3% + 10 mA |
Sequential output, 8 template waveforms and output recorder
The Sequential Output function on CH1/CH2 lets you edit power-output waveforms or CV/CC load waveforms for serial power output and dynamic-load simulation. To simplify editing, the GPP-Series includes 8 built-in template waveforms: Sine, Pulse, Ramp, Stair Up, Stair Dn, Stair UpDn, Exp Rise and Exp Fall, that you can apply directly. The Output Recorder captures output voltage and current at a minimum 1-second interval and saves the result as a *.REC or *.CSV file to internal memory or a USB flash drive, so long-duration burn-in and soak data exports straight to Excel. Ten sets of memory are provided for each Sequence / Delay / Recorder / panel-setting condition.
Tracking series and parallel: no external wiring
For higher voltage or current, CH1 and CH2 support tracking series (0–64 V) and tracking parallel (0–6 A) operation. The GPP-Series switches the output to series or parallel using its internal circuit without additional external wiring: avoiding the voltage/current inaccuracies that long, thin or mismatched external links can introduce on supplies that require manual jumpering. Tracking error is ≤0.1% + 10 mV of the master.

Applications
The GPP-X323 Series suits engineering and production teams that need clean, programmable, multi-rail power with load and sequencing built in:
- Multi-rail embedded systems: independently power and monitor processor core, I/O, memory and peripheral rails on one bench.
- Battery and energy-storage testing: use CH1/CH2 as source and load for basic charge/discharge characterisation.
- Semiconductor and component test: low-ripple, high-resolution power for noise-sensitive analog and mixed-signal work.
- Consumer-electronics and USB-charging validation: the GPP-3323’s selectable CH3 and 3 A USB Type-A output for charging tests.
- Automated burn-in and soak: sequential output, monitor and output-recorder functions for long-duration data logging.
- School, research and lab benches: a single compact 3U half-rack supply replacing several stand-alone units.
The Monitor function can sound an alarm or stop output on user-set conditions to protect the DUT, while the intelligent temperature-controlled fan keeps acoustic noise down on a busy bench.
