About GRF-1300A RF and Communications Trainer
The GRF-1300A is a dedicated RF and communications training system designed for engineering colleges and technical institutes teaching wireless communication fundamentals. The system pairs with the GSP-730 3 GHz spectrum analyzer to form a complete RF measurement teaching lab.
Waveform generation supports sine, square, and triangle outputs from 0.1 to 3 MHz. RF output at 870–920 MHz provides a real-world carrier frequency for AM/FM modulation experiments. Five on/off switches and five test points allow students to inject and measure signals at multiple stages of the RF chain.
Eight configurable failure conditions simulate real-world faults for diagnostic training exercises. USB interface enables remote control for automated lab exercises. A 2.4 GHz mixer and band pass filter extend the training curriculum to ISM band and Wi-Fi-adjacent frequency ranges.

A motor drive bench powered at its DC link terminals needs a bus that supplies the drive and takes energy back when the motor brakes. How one bidirectional source, sized against the real bus voltage, replaces the supply, blocking diode and load.
