Overview
About MFG-2000 Series
The MFG-2000 Series is GW Instek’s multi-channel function generator platform offering up to five isolated output channels, two equivalent-performance arbitrary channels, an RF channel, a pulse channel, and a power amplifier channel. The isolated channel design with earth ground isolation prevents ground loops and enables true differential signal generation. A 200 MSa/s true point-by-point output architecture with 16k memory ensures accurate reproduction of complex arbitrary waveforms.

The MFG-2220HM delivers the highest single-channel performance at 200 MHz with 250 MSa/s and 125 MHz repetition rate, suited for high-speed digital and RF stimulus applications. The MFG-2200 and MFG-2100 expand to five channels for complex multi-signal test setups where simultaneous independent outputs are required, such as driving sensors, clocks, and communication interfaces in parallel during system-level validation.
Comprehensive modulation capabilities including AM, FM, PM, ASK, FSK, PSK, SUM, and PWM address wireless protocol emulation, power supply testing, and mixed-signal stimulus needs on the 4.3-inch TFT color display.
GSAS Micro Systems provides the full MFG-2000 Series lineup across India with channel configuration guidance, application support, and calibration services.

Battery Simulator vs Battery Emulator: Hardware for BMS and Pack Testing
The bench instrument whose terminals behave like a battery pack, why a plain DC supply leaves BMS code paths unexercised, and the capability list to specify against. Worked through the GW Instek RBS Series battery simulation function.

The bench that qualifies a storage rack: which voltage classes rack buses land in, the current envelope at top of charge, parallel growth in the class you buy first, and cycling that runs unattended for weeks.

A motor drive bench powered at its DC link terminals needs a bus that supplies the drive and takes energy back when the motor brakes. How one bidirectional source, sized against the real bus voltage, replaces the supply, blocking diode and load.
