About PFR-100 Series
The GW Instek PFR-100 Series is a fanless multi-range DC power supply delivering 100W with natural convection cooling, eliminating fan noise entirely for use in acoustically sensitive test environments such as audio equipment development, anechoic chambers, and quiet cleanroom facilities. Constant power output across fivefold multi-range voltage and current operation maximizes the usable operating area from a single 100W instrument.

CV/CC priority mode allows engineers to select whether constant voltage or constant current takes precedence during load transients, which is particularly useful for battery charging applications and LED driver testing. Adjustable slew rate for both voltage and current provides controlled output transitions, preventing inrush damage to sensitive DUTs. Preset memory and output on/off delay functions streamline repetitive test workflows.
A built-in web server enables browser-based monitoring and control from any networked device, while external analog control and monitor functions support integration with custom test fixtures. Front and rear panel output terminals offer flexible connection options for bench and rack-mounted configurations.
