About PPX Series Programmable High Precision DC Power Supply
The GW Instek PPX Series is a programmable high precision DC power supply designed for applications demanding ultra-fine measurement resolution. With four ranges of current measurement down to 0.1 µA and two ranges of voltage measurement down to 0.1 mV, the PPX delivers laboratory-grade accuracy in a compact bench-top form factor. The series supports C.V/C.C priority switching, a data log function capable of recording up to one billion data points with configurable sample intervals from 0.001 to 999 seconds, and a test sequence function for automated voltage/current profiling.

Applications
The PPX Series excels in semiconductor device characterization, LED testing, battery cell formation, and sensor calibration where micro-ampere level current resolution is essential. The voltage remote sense function compensates for lead resistance, ensuring accurate voltage delivery at the device under test. K-type thermocouple temperature measurement enables simultaneous thermal monitoring during power delivery, which is critical for reliability testing and thermal characterization of power devices.
Standard interfaces include USB, LAN, RS-232, RS-485, and analog control, with optional GPIB for integration into legacy automated test systems. The data logging and sequence programming capabilities make the PPX suitable for unattended long-duration tests in quality assurance and production environments.
