About PSB-2000 Series
The GW Instek PSB-2000 Series is a programmable switching DC power supply available in low-voltage (0-80V) and high-voltage (0-800V) configurations with output power from 400W to 800W. Constant power output across multiple voltage and current ranges maximizes the usable operating area, allowing a single instrument to serve applications that would otherwise require separate power supplies at different voltage/current combinations. A 90-degree rotatable control panel enables flexible rack mounting orientation.

Series and parallel operation expands the effective voltage or current range beyond a single unit’s ratings, supporting higher-power test scenarios. The PC-editable sequence function enables automated voltage and current profiles for battery charge/discharge cycling, component stress testing, and production burn-in applications. Standard RS-232C, USB, and analog control interfaces provide flexible connectivity, with optional GPIB for integration into established ATE environments.
The dual-channel PSB-2400L2 delivers two independent 400W outputs in a single chassis, addressing test scenarios requiring simultaneous multi-rail power delivery. The high-voltage PSB-2400H and PSB-2800H models extend the output range to 800V for HiPot testing, capacitor charging, and high-voltage device characterization.
