About SFG-1003/1013 DDS Function Generator
The SFG-1003 and SFG-1013 are DDS (Direct Digital Synthesis) function generators designed for education, basic industrial, and entry-level R&D applications. FPGA-based DDS technology delivers high frequency accuracy (±20 ppm) and stability (±20 ppm) at a budget-friendly price point.
Output frequency spans 0.1 Hz to 3 MHz with 100 mHz resolution, sufficient for audio, baseband, and low-frequency analog circuit testing. Low distortion sine wave output (-55 dBc) supports filter characterization and amplifier linearity measurements without requiring an external low-pass filter.
The SFG-1013 adds a voltage display feature for direct output level monitoring. Both models feature PC USB interface for remote control and waveform editing via external PC software, supporting automated test sequences in educational lab environments.

Battery Simulator vs Battery Emulator: Hardware for BMS and Pack Testing
The bench instrument whose terminals behave like a battery pack, why a plain DC supply leaves BMS code paths unexercised, and the capability list to specify against. Worked through the GW Instek RBS Series battery simulation function.
BESS Test Benches: Rack-Level Charge and Discharge Qualification
The bench that qualifies a storage rack: which voltage classes rack buses land in, the current envelope at top of charge, parallel growth in the class you buy first, and cycling that runs unattended for weeks.
Motor Drive Test Benches: DC Bus Supply and Regenerative Braking
A motor drive bench powered at its DC link terminals needs a bus that supplies the drive and takes energy back when the motor brakes. How one bidirectional source, sized against the real bus voltage, replaces the supply, blocking diode and load.
