About USG-LF44
The USG-LF44 is a compact USB-powered RF signal generator covering 34.5 MHz to 4400 MHz with continuous wave output from -30 dBm to 0 dBm. Powered and controlled entirely through a PC USB interface, it eliminates the need for a standalone benchtop instrument when a simple, portable CW source is sufficient. Phase noise of -107 dBc/Hz at 100 kHz offset and 10 kHz frequency resolution provide clean, stable output across the full operating range.

Four operating modes, fixed frequency, frequency sweep, frequency hopping, and power sweep, address a range of RF testing scenarios from single-tone receiver sensitivity checks to automated frequency-stepped measurements and power linearity characterization. The frequency hopping mode is particularly useful for simulating agile RF environments during receiver robustness testing.
The USG-LF44’s compact USB form factor makes it an ideal companion for field service, portable test setups, and lab environments where bench space is limited. It covers key wireless bands including cellular (LTE, 5G sub-6 GHz), Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), Bluetooth, GPS, and ISM bands in a single device.
