About SafeTpack Safety Manager
SafeTpack Safety Manager is a production-ready diagnostic and self-test library for Infineon AURIX TC2xx and TC3xx microcontrollers. It provides the runtime safety mechanisms required by ISO 26262 ASIL A through ASIL D, LBIST management, program flow monitoring, SFR (Special Function Register) cyclic control, and comprehensive startup and runtime diagnostic tests.
The library ships as source code with a demo workspace, full documentation, and Elektrobit tresos plugins for AUTOSAR integration. Teams can deploy SafeTpack with or without AUTOSAR, the library operates at the MCAL level, independent of the software architecture above it.
What SafeTpack Tests
- LBIST (Logic Built-In Self-Test): manages the on-chip self-test sequence that verifies the CPU logic at startup
- Program Flow Monitoring: detects execution path deviations caused by hardware faults, stack corruption, or runaway code
- SFR Cyclic Control: periodically verifies that safety-critical register values have not been corrupted by transient faults
- Startup Tests: validates RAM, flash, clock, and peripheral integrity before the application launches
- Runtime Tests: continuous background monitoring during normal operation, with configurable test scheduling

- Watchdog Package: integration with Infineon TLF35584 and TLF35585 safety watchdogs for window-mode supervision
- Program Flow Monitor: enhanced program flow monitoring with external checkpoint validation
