Introduction to EDM Data Modeling: A beginner-friendly guide is a free Siemens EDA webinar on Thursday, September 24, 2026 at 9:30 PM IST, presented by Arturo Romero and Eric Mace. No previous Data Modeling experience is required. Registration is free.
Data modeling is how information is structured and managed inside EDM Library. This session introduces the fundamental concepts behind it: how data is organised, how objects are defined, and how relationships between different kinds of data are established. Siemens describes it as a beginner-friendly introduction built around practical examples, and states that no previous data modeling experience is required.
It is the foundation session for teams moving into Xpedition library and design data management rather than a release update.
