About Arm Arduino Adapter

Arduino Shield Adapter

The Arm Arduino Adapter exposes Arduino Uno R3 shield headers on older Arm FPGA prototyping boards that route GPIO/SPI/I2C/UART through a generic expansion connector, primarily the V2M-MPS2+. The adapter maps the MPS2+ expansion pins to the Arduino shield pinout, letting teams reuse the Arduino sensor / display / motor-driver / radio shield ecosystem during Cortex-M firmware development on Arm’s FPGA prototyping platforms.

MPS3 and MPS4 already expose Arduino-compatible headers natively on the motherboard, so most Cortex-M Arduino-shield workflows on MPS3/MPS4 do not require this adapter. The adapter is most useful for MPS2+ users and for legacy projects that standardised on MPS2+ before MPS3/MPS4 were available.

Why GSAS for Arduino Adapter

GSAS provides the Arm Arduino Adapter in India for teams running Arduino-shield-based prototyping on the MPS2+ FPGA board. For MPS3 and MPS4 users, we will route you to the native Arduino-compatible headers on the motherboard rather than recommend the adapter unnecessarily. Contact GSAS for pricing and bundled configurations.
