Overview
About Arm uSDCARD SPI Adapter Kit

The Arm uSDCARD SPI Adapter Kit provides a way to connect microSD card storage over SPI on Cortex-M FPGA prototyping setups. Per Arm Application Note AN531 (the canonical Arm reference for this kit), the adapter is specified for use with the Arm V2M-MPS2+ motherboard. Compatibility with other Arm FPGA boards is not stated in AN531 and should not be assumed without verification.
The adapter bridges the microSD socket to standard header pins and is intended for development and testing of storage-related firmware components, SD card drivers, file system middleware (FAT, littlefs), data-logging routines, and firmware-update image storage, on FPGA-prototyped Cortex-M targets before moving to custom hardware.
