About MCC USB-1808X
The MCC USB-1808X is a high-speed, high-precision simultaneous sampling USB data acquisition device from Measurement Computing (now part of Digilent/NI). It provides 8 single-ended or 4 differential analog input channels with 18-bit resolution at 200 kS/s per channel simultaneous sampling, 2 analog outputs at 16-bit resolution, 4 digital inputs, 4 digital outputs, and 2 x 32-bit counters — all in a compact USB 2.0 bus-powered form factor.

Simultaneous sampling across all channels eliminates the interchannel phase delays inherent in multiplexed DAQ systems — critical for applications measuring phase relationships between signals, such as vibration analysis, power quality monitoring, and multi-sensor data correlation. The 18-bit resolution provides 262,144 discrete levels across the input range, delivering measurement precision that resolves millivolt-level changes on 10 V signals.
