About WebDAQ 316

The WebDAQ 316 is an internet-enabled thermocouple data logger from Digilent (an Emerson company) that provides 16 channels of 24-bit thermocouple measurement with autonomous logging, built-in web interface, and Ethernet connectivity. Unlike traditional USB DAQ devices that require a host computer, the WebDAQ 316 operates independently — configure it through any web browser, set trigger conditions and alarms, and log data to the onboard SD card or network storage for days, weeks, or months without supervision.

Autonomous Operation

The WebDAQ 316 runs its own embedded OS, eliminating the need for a dedicated PC or software installation. Engineers configure acquisition parameters, trigger conditions, alarm thresholds, and logging schedules through the built-in web interface from any device with a browser. When alarm conditions are met, the WebDAQ sends email notifications — enabling remote monitoring of industrial processes, environmental chambers, burn-in ovens, and production equipment without on-site personnel.

Applications

The 16-channel capacity with support for all standard thermocouple types makes the WebDAQ 316 suitable for multi-zone furnace monitoring, environmental chamber validation, thermal profiling in manufacturing, HVAC commissioning, cold chain logistics, and any application requiring long-term autonomous temperature data collection over a network.

GSAS Micro Systems provides the WebDAQ 316 as part of the Digilent MCC data acquisition portfolio, with INR invoicing and support for industrial measurement teams across Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Delhi NCR, Mumbai, and Pune.
