The B200 provides the same frequency coverage and bandwidth as the B210 in a single-channel configuration, making it the cost-effective entry point into the USRP ecosystem for applications that do not require MIMO operation. The open FPGA can be reprogrammed using free Xilinx development tools for custom signal processing implementations.
Applications include FM/TV broadcast reception, cellular protocol research, GPS/GNSS signal analysis, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth monitoring, ISM band experimentation, and wireless communications education. The UHD driver framework ensures compatibility with GNU Radio, MATLAB, LabVIEW, and custom applications across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
GSAS Micro Systems provides the USRP B200 alongside the full NI Ettus USRP lineup through Digilent, with INR invoicing, model selection guidance, and UHD software support for wireless research teams across India.
