Overview
About WebDAQ 504
The WebDAQ 504 is an internet-enabled vibration and acoustic data logger from Digilent (an Emerson company) that provides 4 channels of simultaneous 24-bit IEPE/voltage measurement at up to 51.2 kS/s per channel with autonomous logging, built-in web interface, and Ethernet connectivity. Designed for condition monitoring, structural health assessment, and sound level analysis, the WebDAQ 504 operates independently without a host computer — configure via any web browser, log to onboard SD card or network storage, and receive email alerts when vibration or acoustic thresholds are exceeded.

Vibration and Acoustic Monitoring
The WebDAQ 504 accepts standard IEPE accelerometers and microphones with built-in 2 mA constant current excitation. The simultaneous 24-bit sampling across all four channels preserves phase relationships between sensors — critical for structural mode analysis, vibration source identification, and acoustic characterization. The 51.2 kS/s per channel rate covers the frequency range of most industrial vibration (up to 20 kHz) and acoustic measurement applications.
Applications
The WebDAQ 504 supports rotating machinery condition monitoring, bridge and building structural health monitoring, production line vibration screening, HVAC noise assessment, and any application requiring long-term autonomous vibration or sound data collection. The autonomous web-based architecture eliminates the need for dedicated PCs at each monitoring point.
GSAS Micro Systems provides the WebDAQ 504 alongside the full Digilent MCC data acquisition portfolio, with application guidance for vibration monitoring and predictive maintenance teams across Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Delhi NCR, Mumbai, and Pune.
