About GDS-3102A
The GDS-3102A is the 2-channel variant of GW Instek’s flagship 1 GHz oscilloscope platform, delivering 5 GSa/s real-time sampling and 200 Mega points memory per channel. With a waveform update rate of 200,000 wfm/s, it captures infrequent anomalies that lower refresh rates would miss. Built-in power analysis, serial protocol decoding, a dual-channel 25 MHz arbitrary waveform generator, and spectrogram display make it a comprehensive bench instrument for power and embedded design.

The spectrogram view overlays frequency content over time, making it straightforward to identify intermittent EMI events, clock drift, and spectral changes during power supply transients. Combined with 13 integrated power analysis measurements including efficiency, switching loss, and safe operating area testing, the GDS-3102A serves as a dedicated power electronics development station.
For engineers who need two high-bandwidth channels without the cost of a 4-channel instrument, the GDS-3102A delivers the full feature set of the GDS-3104A platform in a more budget-friendly configuration.

AI Data Center Testing: Power Shelves, Busbars, Burn-In and Optics
AI racks fail on the bench long before they fail in the field. How AI data center infrastructure is actually tested: server power shelves and CRPS supplies, 48V busbars, battery backup units, DC-DC stages, burn-in, thermal validation, high-speed switches, and optical transceivers, mapped to the GW Instek instruments GSAS supplies across India.
Testing High-Power UPS, Solar Inverters and Power Electronics: Inside the GW Instek AEL-5000 AC/DC Electronic Load
India's UPS, solar-inverter and power-electronics makers need load testing that behaves like the real world: non-linear, high-power and scalable. Here is how the GW Instek AEL-5000 AC/DC electronic load covers it, from 1.875 kW on the bench to 540 kW in a three-phase array.
