About GDS-3500 Series
The GDS-3500 Series is GW Instek’s 500 MHz visual persistence oscilloscope (VPO) line, combining 5 GSa/s real-time and 100 GSa/s equivalent-time sampling with an intensity-graded waveform display that reveals signal frequency-of-occurrence information. The selectable 50 ohm, 75 ohm, and 1M ohm input impedance makes the series suitable for RF, video, and general-purpose measurements without external adapters. Split-screen mode allows simultaneous time-domain and frequency-domain views.

The VPO display technology highlights waveform anomalies by mapping sample density to color intensity, enabling engineers to spot jitter, runt pulses, and signal integrity problems at a glance. Optional power analysis add-on extends the platform to switching power supply development.
With triple-impedance inputs, the GDS-3500 Series bridges RF characterization at 50 ohm, video system testing at 75 ohm, and standard bench probing at 1M ohm in a single instrument.
