About MPO-2204P
The MPO-2204P is the world’s only oscilloscope with built-in Python scripting, enabling custom test automation apps that run directly on the instrument without external software or ATE. Four analog channels at 200 MHz bandwidth with 1 GSa/s sampling, a dual-channel spectrum analyzer, serial bus decoding (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, LIN), and data logging up to 1000 hours provide comprehensive signal analysis.
| Feature | Specification |
|---|---|
| Bandwidth | 200 MHz, 4 analog channels |
| Sampling Rate | 1 GSa/s |
| Python Scripting | Built-in GUI IDE, on-instrument execution |
| Spectrum Analyzer | Dual-channel FFT |
| Serial Decode | I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, LIN |
| Data Logging | Up to 1000 hours continuous |
| Built-in AWG | Dual-channel, 25 MHz |
| Built-in DMM | Integrated digital multimeter |
| Built-in Power Supply | Dual-channel, 1V to 20V programmable |
| Display | 8-inch WVGA LCD |
Built-in dual-channel 25 MHz AWG, DMM, and dual-channel programmable power supply (1V to 20V) make the MPO-2204P a self-contained bench instrument that consolidates multiple instruments into a single compact platform. The Python scripting environment allows engineers to create custom measurement routines, automated pass/fail test sequences, and interactive test GUIs directly on the oscilloscope, eliminating the need for external PCs or expensive ATE software licenses.
Production test engineers, educators, and R&D teams benefit from the MPO-2204P’s unique combination of measurement, stimulus, and automation capabilities. It is ideal for automated production testing at a fraction of traditional ATE cost, engineering education with all-in-one instrumentation, and component tolerance testing with Python-scripted measurement sequences.
GSAS Micro Systems offers the MPO-2204P with Python scripting training, application development support, and complete bench solution consultation.

A motor drive bench powered at its DC link terminals needs a bus that supplies the drive and takes energy back when the motor brakes. How one bidirectional source, sized against the real bus voltage, replaces the supply, blocking diode and load.
