About MDO-2000A
The GW Instek MDO-2000A is a mixed-domain oscilloscope that integrates a full spectrum analyzer alongside time-domain oscilloscope channels in a single instrument. Available in 100 MHz, 200 MHz, and 300 MHz bandwidth options with 2 or 4 analog channels, the MDO-2000A captures time-domain waveforms and frequency-domain spectra simultaneously, enabling engineers to correlate time and frequency events during EMI debugging, RF circuit validation, and switching power supply analysis.
The built-in spectrum analyzer covers DC to 1 GHz, providing frequency-domain visibility without requiring a separate bench instrument. This is particularly valuable for embedded systems work where clock harmonics, switching noise, and unintentional RF emissions need to be identified and correlated with specific circuit activity on the time-domain channels.
