About MSO-2204EA
The MSO-2204EA combines a 200 MHz 4-channel analog oscilloscope with a 16-channel digital logic analyzer for true mixed-signal debugging. VPO (Visual Persistence Oscilloscope) waveform technology reveals rarely-occurring signal anomalies, while a waveform update rate of 120,000 wfm/s provides high probability of glitch capture.
| Feature | Specification |
|---|---|
| Bandwidth | 200 MHz |
| Analog Channels | 4 |
| Digital Channels | 16 (MSO) |
| Sampling Rate | 1 GSa/s |
| Memory Depth | 10 Mpts per channel |
| Waveform Update | 120,000 wfm/s (VPO technology) |
| Serial Decode | I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, LIN |
| Built-in AWG | Dual-channel, 25 MHz |
| FRA Software | Free Bode plot / gain-phase analysis |
| Mask Test | Automated waveform compliance |
Free frequency response analyzer (FRA) software enables Bode plot and gain/phase measurements on power supplies and amplifiers, providing loop stability analysis without dedicated FRA instrumentation. Built-in dual-channel 25 MHz AWG, full serial bus decoding (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, LIN), and mask test function for automated waveform compliance verification make this an excellent all-around instrument for embedded development and mixed-signal design.
Embedded systems engineers, power supply designers, and mixed-signal developers use the MSO-2204EA for correlating analog waveforms with digital bus activity, debugging communication protocols, and verifying power supply stability. The 16 digital channels capture address, data, and control bus signals simultaneously with analog measurements, providing the complete picture needed to resolve complex timing and signal integrity issues.
GSAS Micro Systems provides the MSO-2204EA with probe selection guidance, serial decode configuration support, and comprehensive after-sales service.
