About PEL-500 Series
The PEL-500 Series is a DC electronic load featuring a 5-digit digital meter with simultaneous display of voltage, current, and power for real-time monitoring during test execution. Operating modes include CC, CR, CV, CP, and dynamic loading, covering a broad range of power supply and battery testing requirements. Built-in battery discharge testing with configurable stop conditions (voltage, amp-hours, watt-hours, time) simplifies battery characterization workflows.

The surge test function validates power supply startup behavior by measuring boot-up overshoot and hot-plugging transient response, ensuring that voltage spikes remain within safe limits for downstream components. Configurable short-circuit timing allows engineers to verify power supply behavior under sustained fault conditions.
Battery manufacturers, adapter designers, and production test teams use the PEL-500 for discharge profiling, load regulation verification, and incoming inspection of DC power sources. The automatic overcurrent and overpower protection ensures safe unattended operation during extended test runs.
