Overview
About XTL-m

The XTL-m is ProMik’s compact manual programming station, sharing the same programming core and project files as the automated XTL-i inline system. This enables a transition from NPI and prototyping to full production without re-validation. Quick-change fixtures swap in under two minutes, supporting high-mix production environments with frequent product changes.
| Feature | Specification |
|---|---|
| Type | Manual desktop station |
| Footprint | 600 x 400 mm desktop |
| Fixture Changeover | Under 2 minutes |
| Throughput | 400+ ECUs per 8-hour shift |
| Programmers Supported | MSP2300Net, XDM-ETH, XDM-USB |
| Operation | One-button with clear status indicators |
| Scanner Integration | Optional barcode and QR reader |
| Traceability | FlashTask Pro with pass/fail logging |
| Project Compatibility | Same files as XTL-i inline system |
With an ergonomic desktop layout, clear status indicators, and one-button operation, the XTL-m requires minimal operator training. Optional barcode and QR scanner integration enables serial capture and work order tracking. FlashTask Pro provides full production logging with pass/fail tracking and serial number management.
NPI engineers, rework technicians, and low-volume production teams use the XTL-m for firmware development programming, engineering sample builds, field rework, and high-mix low-volume manufacturing where the flexibility of a manual station outweighs the throughput of a fully automated line. The shared project file architecture with the XTL-i means that programs validated on the XTL-m during NPI transfer directly to inline production with zero re-validation effort, significantly reducing time to volume manufacturing.
Applications
- NPI and sample build: first-article programming and production process validation before inline scale-up
- Rework station: firmware re-flashing for field returns, ECU rework, and engineering change orders
- High-mix low-volume: multi-variant production where frequent fixture changes favour manual operation
- Engineering lab: development programming with production-grade traceability and project file management
ProMik Ecosystem
Start with XTL-m for firmware development and NPI, then move to XTL-i for inline automation using the same fixtures, same project files, and zero re-validation. The XTL-m accepts MSP2300NET, XDM-ETH, and XDM-USB programmers, controlled by FlashTask Pro.
GSAS Micro Systems is the authorized ProMik channel partner, providing XTL-m deployment support, fixture sourcing, and FlashTask Pro configuration assistance across India.
